Born in Ghana, West Africa, to parents of Hausa and Asante descent, Laila spent most of her childhood surrounded by a rich culture of holistic living. From a young age, her grandparents educated her on herbal medicine, natural remedies and the importance of reconnecting with herself through nature.
Wild Seed Botanicals is a Black-owned, plant-powered holistic wellness brand with a focus on clean and sustainable beauty. Born in London, rooted and planted in African Holistic Traditions. We’re founded on two main philosophies: (1) we believe that nature is all-encompassing, has the power to heal, nourish and restore. As a result, we desire to co-create with nature a range of products that are simply seed to skin. (2) Moving away from mainstream cosmetics that are laden with synthetics and fillers, Wild Seed Botanicals brings products that are not only efficacious but foster a sense of wellness by helping you reconnect to yourself through nature.
