Become an Intern!
The Modern Green book is looking for 2 students who are interested in a Social Media and Marketing Internship. This internship will last 3 or 6 months and a small stipend will be given as well as opportunities to make bonuses.
Applicants are taken on a rolling basis.
Requirements
- Must have experience with Adobe products
- Must have experience in Google Docs and Sheets
- Must be a College student (Junior or Senior preferred)
- Must be a U.S. resident
This is a remote position with flexible working hours. Please email your resume and cover letter if interested!
Volunteers
We are always looking for people who are passionate about the Black Business Community and want to see it grow.
Below is a list of volunteer opportunities:
- Reaching out to Black businesses and organizations in your community to get them added to our database (in person, over phone, email, etc.)
- Attending Popup shops/networking events to scout businesses in your area
- Attending Popup shops/networking events to work table (only if in your area)
Volunteering is based solely on what the volunteer can handle and what they are interested in. If interested, please fill out the Volunteer Request form and further information will be sent!
Brand ambassadors & travel ambassadors
Ambassadors carry the brand of TheMGB, and help promote the brand through their personal platforms. Ambassadors will receive their own personal code to our shop that will give them a percentage off of our merch and their followers.
Travel Ambassadors carry the brand of TheMGB, and promote the brand while on their travel. If interested in being a travel ambassador you must be able to fund your own travel expenses. Travel ambassadors are unique in that they have the opportunity to visit locations listed with us and also get other businesses to submit that may be beyond TheMGB’s reach at the moment.
Listed below are the following task asked of our Ambassadors:
- Travel photos in TheMGB gear & post to personal platforms
- Meet & Network with businesses in new areas
- Attend Photoshoots if in your area
All Photos will be posted on our social media platforms and will be cited for credit.
