Allow me to introduce myself. I’m Jamarkus B. Anderson, NRA certified Pistol Instructor, Range Safety Officer and a proud member of the National African American Gun Association. I’ve been actively training with firearms for about 5 years. I got into firearms primarily for the protection of myself and family but it turns out that I actually enjoy shooting (and I’m pretty good at it too). Then, I noticed a woeful lack of people of color in the instructor capacity. I decided to do my part and help to fill that void.
