Dr. Garrett was born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She graduated from Red Bank High School. Afterwards, she completed both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in chemistry at the University of Tennessee Knoxville. While working as an associate chemist for Merck Pharmaceutical, she discovered her passion in the dental field. Dr. Garrett completed dental school at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. She then furthered her education by completing a two-year pediatric dental residency at NYU-Lutheran Hospital in Maryland. She has had the pleasure of treating children in the surrounding cities of Nashville, TN for the past four years. Dr. Garrett enjoys getting to know all of her patients and watching their personalities develop over time. Dr. Garrett is a board certified pediatric dentist and member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and American Dental Association.
