Unearthing Tradition is a holistic wellness organization that exists to create unapologetic healing spaces for Black folks to exhale, especially in the midst of sacred transitions.

Our work is inspired in honor and celebration of dignified life cycles where we exist to bear witness, maintain safe and sacred space, and guide vulnerable people to the other side of their experience.

A commitment to unearthing dignified cycles between life and death, specifically for Black, LGBTQIA+, and/or spiritual folk are priority in our work. Unearthing Tradition centers these communities unapologetically and in all ways.

While addressing the realities facing our communities, we strive to support:

1) informed and empowered decision-making
2) access to fulfilling experiences throughout someone’s life cycles, and
​3) an expectation of safe and healthy outcomes.

Through full spectrum birthwork, wellness practices like yoga and meditation, holistic wellness products, and death/dying/grief support we offer care throughout someone’s life cycle support.
