Vendor Information:

  • Vendors must provide their own setup; no tables or chairs will be provided for any market.
  • Vendor set-ups must be a 10×10 space unless previously discussed with the Marketplace Team.
  • Businesses must be at least 50% Black Owned to participate.
  • Load-in begins at 1 pm, and All vendors must be out by 9 pm on regular market days.
  • Normal market day vendor fee is $20/$25 week of
  • $5 late fee 
  • August is our annual fundraising festival week, and the Marketplace is a part of that event. (vendor fee $50)
  • December is our Holiday Market and Pictures with Santa. (vendor fee $50)

Vendor Fee Info

There is a nominal vendor fee to help us with some of the costs for the marketplace to make it the best it can be. Vendors, both retail and food, are required to pay $20 vendor fee per market with the exception of Aug & Dec markets where the fee is different ($50-Aug. & $50 - Dec.) Once your application is approved, our team will send an invoice on the 1st of every month you signed up for. Vendors fees are due by the 15th of every month. a $5 late fee will be added to those who pay after the due date. If you wish to add more markets later in the year, please email us a minimum of 10 day prior!

Food Vendor Information

All Food Vendors must have a City of Birmingham license - All Food Vendors must have the proper permits to serve food - Food vendors MUST be on City Walk Prefered Food Vendor List - Link to apply to be a food vendor : https://wkf.ms/446iPWx - If not on list a One-time $250 fee OR $50/market fee paid to City Walk - Food vendors will be contacted with City Walk Food Vendor Info

Additional Info

- Load in will begin 3hours before market start time - No alcohol is permitted to be served during the event. A Bar will be available - No tents will be provided, City Walk is a covered outdoor space, so if you wish to have one please bring your own. - Breakdown will begin with 30 minutes left in the market - ALL VENDORS MUST PAY A CITY OF BIRMINGHAM 4% SALES TAX, envelope will be provided - Information will be sent with maps, load in location, parking info, break down, etc. - TheMGB Team will contact you with an invoice - It is not required to vend at all markets, if you do sign up for one and can no longer attend, please let us know 10 day in advance. - refunds are given in the event TheMGB marketplace is cancelled or the vendor cancels by the 15th of the month.
